Below are some of the Projects I worked on over 6 years
Prodigy English
Village Builder, where players would gather resources with energy gained by answering English questions. Using resources to build decorations and customize their personal village
Job | Quest Display
Added a display on the side of the screen, tracking job progress, driven by in-game actions, run on a back-end server
Pet Skins | Outfits
Updated the game’s pet Spines to change visuals on the fly. Changing the image mapped to a bone, allowing for different pet breeds, and outfits.
Pet Level | Bonuses
Added level mechanics to the pet, allowing them to level up, and provide a bonus to resource gathering
Neighbours
Added Neighbours tied to physical locations in the game. Neighbours would ask for gifts, allowing you to increase their affection, rewarding the play with items
Fish Spawning
Added a system allowing for fish to spawn as resources in the world. Driven by a robust set of placement rules
Membership API
Implemented the Prodigy’s membership API and Menu, allowing the game to track, and reference membership, during game actions
Mailer API
Implemented the Prodigy’s new mailer API and Menu, allowing the designers and other teams to send mail to the players sending items and messages
Prodigy Math
Pokemon Style MMORPG, where players would engage in turn-based battles, by answering math questions, with their PC and team of captured pets.
Pet Book
Update to the pet menu used for selecting the player’s team and viewing pet details. Showing various stats and details of each pet
Wizard Watch
The in-game news menu, added a series of improvements to boast user notice-ability and retention
